b16 hatcher- 92-95 civic, jdm b16, rollcage, gutted out, 2 sparco monte carlo seats, no airbox, ACT racing clutch

my s2k- injen CAI

place: perpendicular to pomona raceway, near karma motorsports, all from dead stops

1st race: i launch at 4k to 5k (best launch), right away i get a 1 car lead, see him smoke up a bit, shift near redline every gear till i reach about 90, then shut it down. win him, spectators say he bogged, about 1 1/2 to two cars.

2nd race: 6k to 7k launch(first one i ever did and also the last), spun till their was no tommorow, my car went sideways, i was ahead by a 1/2 car but also scared sh*tless, so i stayed about 50 the whole way trying to regain composure, busted a u-turn for the last race.

3rd(final race)-i launch at 4k to 5k again, get a great launch, he gets a good launch, little wheel spin, about 1/2 a car from the beginning, shift near redline at every gear till i hit 95 and im about 1 to 1/2 car ahead, win.

went to a friend's house and talked about race, he takes my s2 out and is amazed and says it pulls way harder then his, so i take his b16 out with him ( i must say his clutch is sooo hard to work with) pretty fast, definetly feels faster, but less torque.
then we go to "abandoned" industrial buildings and he starts busting 180's and drifts.

all n all, good, clean , and fun races, surprised my car beat it, happy i beat it

i recently posted my hatch a 93 cx with a b18c1, I/H/E/ computer chip and against my bone stock s(except for a JR filter) I could pull 2 +car lengths to 70mph. Good race though, I would avoid gsr hatches, they will pull on you everytime.

From my experience and what I've seen. The GSR hatch does not run 13s even with I/H/E. It runs 14.2-14.3 all day though.

If it's completely gutted then yea...but not with a full interior.

more like mid-high 14s.

I/E/H helps a lot and can do high 13s with a really good driver.

A stock S2000 should beat a b16 hatch with I/H/E.

Also depends on how well the swap was done, and of course, the motor.

well, one of my very good friends happens to have a 93CX w/ B18 swap w/ I/H/E......u dont have to be a really good driver to break 13's w/ that setup.....those things fly .......and yes it does depend on the swap and motor that was put into the car

My friend with a b16 hatch was running mid 14s with I/E/H. He would always beat my friend with a b18 hatch with CAI by about 2 cars. Both had '93 CX
