After working in the yard all day I took a break to go to the hardware store in my Turbo S2k. I probably looked pretty grundgy but was not out to impress anyone. A guy who was way overdressed for a Saturday pulls up to me in his obviously new Boxter S. I'm guessing he was a wanna-be broker or investment banker going through some sort of mid-life crisis. He looks over at me and says "I heard those things aren't that fast" with a smug look on his face. I see no traffic ahead. I reply "It does okay". He say's "wanna run 'em" with a smile. I'm thinking this guy should spend less time looking into his mirror and more time learning about cars. I said "Sure, why not", go on green. Light changes and he gets a car length on me, I didn't want to waste my clutch on this jerk. By the end of Second I was already even and gaining fast, I glanced over as I passed by him, he looked confused and pissed off at the same time. Ever see a person on the sidewalk trip and then look down at their shoe as if it caused them to trip. That's the look he had on his face. After gaining 2 car lenghts I shut it down so I could make my turn. I hope he can still enjoy his new German sports car now that it's been smoked by a Honda. Well, a turbocharged S2k Honda.

Seems fair to me. He didn't lie about anything. The dumbass in the Boxster made some assumptions he shouldn't have.
