Default BMW-strange

Driving on I95 last night in New York. Had one passanger with me and a trunch full of luggage. I see a pair of Xenon lights behind me. I was in the slow lane and he rode my bumper. Went to the center, hit the clutch, down shifted 2 gears, rev matched, and floored it. Redline, shift, redline shift,.........we hit about 100 and I was slowly walking him. Smiling, I hit the brakes and brought it back to 65. He flies by me and I flash my lights for him to slow down so we can go again........he is driving a red older model 3 series (an E36 type model but defintely not an M3) but I couldnt tell, his badges were shaved. Nice car though, lowered, rims, wings, a body kit. Anyway, we smile at eachother (or atleast I smiled at him, his windows were tinted). I down shift, revmatch, and get the stook into that sweet screaming power band. Smiling smugly to myself, I hit the horn twice and hit it. He car squats and totally BLOWS ME AWAY! I shut down at 100 and he must have been about 6 cars ahead. WE do it again and same result! He engine was screaming.....wierd almost as loud as the stook. TOTAL FUN! Gave him the thumbs up and we parted ways.

Supercharged maybe ? There is no way a stock, older 328 walks away from you, unless you blew your shifts, and you say you revved right.

Sweet! You had a new Maxima spray on you? That's funny...not something I would have expected.

If it was a red one it could have been Willy from "Bimmerforums.com". Im pretty sure he lives in NY or NJ. Anyway, his car is fast, faster than a mildly modded m3 or S2K. Otherwise i would have to agree that you got sprayed.
