Default Boxster Eater

I went to go wash my car the other day and when i pull in i see a boxster reving in front of me. Little did i know it was my cousin toying with me. He comes out of the car and starts telling me that he could eat me alive with that thing. So i told him let me finish with my car and well do this. So i finish cleaning the whip and jumped in. As im pulling out i see hes at the light waiting for me. I pull up next to him and hes reving like no other. So i bring the car up to 6000 rpms and when that light turned green we were gone. The both of us spining tiers as people on the sidewalk turning heads, here i am pulling on him, and pulling on him hard. We brought it up to 75mph no need for more my job was finished. We went at it twice and both times he was spanked. after that he had nothin to say to me other than my car could move.

I took out a Boxster S awhile back in Vermont and the driver was very impressed....then
again, I'm certainly not stock. It wasn't as close as I thought it would be but no whoppin'
by any means. Nice cars for sure. Not terribly juiced on the base version though.

My Mom has a 98 and they only have 201hp, I believe it 2000 they were upgraded to 217hp and the current are at 225hp. I love driving my mom's porsche, I love the S more, but the sound of that car is orgasmic.

question: not a racer, and i've been reading that most racers drop their clutch with 3,500 to 6,000 rpm when at a complete stop... then there are rolling starts... and stuff like 60mph to top speed kinda races.

what do you call a plain old... idle start and race to the next stop light? i'm not one to race, but if i do i won't be dropping my clutch from anywhere but idle - ha ha ha!
