I had an 2004 a while back n it was lots of fun. Till I crashed. I had wheels, hardtop and the airbox mod. I sold it and picked up a genesis 2.0 rspec. 8 monnths later I know have a 335i.

Theres a guy, looks to be in his late 20s who lives accross the street n man is he pissing me off. I met really cool people on here but this guy is a dick. Im really hoping he reads this, so you can calm down. If he wasnt such a wreckles guy n always trying to race me id be down to talk cars.

Just the other night I was driving my mom n 3yr old nephew to my aunts n this guy catches me at the light. He starts reving n when the light goes green he dumped the clutch or something cause his rear end almost hit my mom n she panicked. Ahhhh. I felt like chasing him but, I wasnt going to speed n drive wreckless. Hes done the same (trying to race me when I had the S and just completely harrased me everytime in the genesis. I did go for it once with him in the genesis up to about 50issh n let off. I was already beat. Lol.

Listen, if your on here its cool if you want to get some runs in n all and, id be glad to but not when your endangering my family. It also just seems very disrespectfull. If I were alone, n for some weird reason, I never see you when im alone, im gamefor a couple pulls... So, if you read this please stop, or hope that next time you catch me at the light im alone

All, I have is a tune @13psi (stock is 8ish) n 10 inch wheels in the back. If I ever race YOU I think I can take YOU!

 

Just get a mac10 w/ a silencer and problem is solved =)

 

had a really similar scenario play out w/ me in the VW community...which is were i came from...long story short...guy that kept being an asshat trying to race in bad areas; found my thread...He talked a lot of shit, threatened to kick my ass because he knew where i lived(even though he knew i was 6'3" 250lbs and he was 5'8"ish 160)...and when i finally got through to him his car was stolen (MKII GTI W/ VR6 swap)...he accused me of having something to do w/ it...talked to the cops, and all was fine...my last post was..."well karmas a bitch isnt it"...

 

Yeah that sucks. A local s2000 owner in my community tries to race me every single time i see him. we always seem to happen to enter the highway together and hell make a point of catching up to me and wanting to race. I can only imagine he deos this to every s2k owner he sees. Some people are ridiculous....

 

Yeah, if he continues to do so ill have to talk to him n tell him he needs to stop. I was really hoping hed be on here n got too see this thread.

Have you spoken to him?
Maybe he doesn't know that his actions are causing you worry? (not saying a normal person would recognize his behavior to be over the top, but it sounds like this isn't a typical person.)

I dunno but actually manning up and going over to have a civilized chat would seem like the most obvious course of action.

I'd have to agree with 177 on this one, although this guy sounds pretty wreckless try to start up a conversation with em' ask him what mods he's got done etc, and slip the oh by the way man whenever you want to race just let me know ahead of time. and not everytime you see me at a light, am sure he'd get the point (hopefully).

Those are little kid and they don't deserve to drive the S. If they wanna race then take it to the track! not running around and try to race everybody!
