Buzzin' GT...
Two 30-something guys had obviously gone for some drinks after work on Friday night. They pulled up next to us (Lips2000, Moyopoyo, and myself) at a light; they were on my left-hand side. It was about 12 AM, they were sporting their dress shirts still. White Mustang, top down...passenger turning around and yelling "Whoooooooooo! Yeah!" with his hands up in the air. Not sure who he was whoo'ing at, possibly the other Mustang a few cars back; possibly no one. All I smell is clutch. "Interesting", I tell myself.
Light turns green, the GT launches hard, his car's rear end dips down hard. I watch his tires spin, and his car take off, as I slowly roll out of the light. He's making some smoke. I rolled out at 2K RPMs, floored it...just let the car do it's slow climb to VTEC. The GT had 2+ lengths by the time 6K rolled around. Then the calm bassy "Bvvroooooom" turned into a loud blasting "Bwwaaaaaaaah", as the technology began to overcome the displacement (VTEC engagement). 9K, shift to 2nd, by 8K in 2nd, at his back bumper. 3rd gear, passing the over-aged frat boys. I stared at them as I went by. 3rd gear took me all the way past them. Considered flashing the hazards just to call them out. Next light turned yellow, I practiced my 90-0 ABS-aided stop...and the boat flew through the yellow (almost red) light.
I wonder if he whoo'ed much after that?

Wesmaster,
LOL - I continue to be amused by the detailed narratives of your kills!!!!
Oh, how I remember those Westheimer nights during the summer - I don't see that much action here in ATL... of course, I don't have the SC to back it up either...
Great Job !!!!

I was just wondering why did you picked the user name ZOOM ZOOM? Mazda guy?
No... definitely not a Mazda guy - just liked the phrase because it so accurately describes our cars' ability on the road or track....
Wesmaster - you are so right about getting into trouble.... man, do I miss those nights...
