My bro just picked up this 02 and its a blast to drive and i was just wondering if I raced him im my "Camry" (from a dig) who would win. What do you guys think??

You've just insulted the whole s2ki community by calling it a miata and anyway.. how much hp do does things have 227? I think it would depend on what speed you guys raced up to.. you'd have the advantage early but if the race keeps going, the s2000 will win

Yeah i know, i was kidding too.. anyways.. You'd have the edge from the launch from being AWD and i would expect an s2000 to creep back up after maybe 60.. Maybe not though i'm not exactly sure what those can do..

 

From a dig with the S2000 getting a good launch, you will only be temporarily in front of your brother. The S2000 will take over shortly after the launch.

My friend had a 04 WRX with Turbo-back Exhaust, Intake, ACT Clutch rated at 370lb ft or so and 15psi Boost Controller. He ran a 14.1 in the 1/4mile with bad tires and spinning off the launch.

Then a friend with a Stock 06 WRX with a great launch ran a 14.8

Id assume you would be in the mid to high 14's.

 

if ur legacy GT is stock the s2k will win....

if u get the launch right u'll be ahead for a short time before the S zooms by u.

if this is a roll (esp. higher speeds 60mph+), the S will win.

at 60mph+ a stock s2k could supposedly slowly walk a stock STi/Evo8...

It finally went down i raced my bros s2k today, We went from a 5mph roll cause he didnt want to launch and we stayed pretty much even till about 85 then we had to shut down.
