Cool cant stop laughing.

well to make a long story short, my car was broken into last nite, they slashed the top, and rummaged through it, and took.. nothing. i dont leave anything in the car. well, i dropped it off at honda and my insurance is on the way.
ok, well this means i have to drive on of my other cars. and i have a few, but this is an s2k board so why say much.
well i have a 68 ford LTD. this car is a crack up, and as you may guess with most of my toys, it is a lurker. stock 390 FE bored .30 makes 406. well the way it was it made 365 hp and 400 tq. it has a little too much compression and isnt happy on pump gas. so i was toying with it tonite, as its my daily now till my S is fixed. i had the timing backed way off, so i changed some jets and turned it back up. soon as i left the shop i was stoked, it was just runnin.
so i get on the freeway and am cruising home (215). mindin my own biz, an LS1 firebird rolls on by me at about 90. im goin 80. i think, what am i gonna say to the cops if i get pulled doing 130 in THIS. oh well, i roll into it and start to catch up, what enters the freeway, a nice black e46 vert. by this time im in tears, no way can this happen to me. wait.. its me. the M paces the LS1 and they are gonna race, i say F**K this im out, i stomp it and go for the fast lane, they punch it JUST after i did not even paying attention to me, well too late i already had the jump, and moved over and walked on by all the way to 130...
i was laughing so hard i thought i was gonna pass out. imagine your in your baby 60K e46, you think your fast, and then you see a dropped boat just plowing through the air pulling on you......
man, rotflmao. im out, laters.

p.s wait till the bigger cam,aly heads, locker and spray are on.. killer boat. LOL

nah, all stock.. LOL. with 400+ ft lbs, it kinda moves in top gear. its like driving a cummins. and its the shortest stroke FE, so it will turn 6500 r's stock. LOL. there is one, ill try and find the link, its named drippy, stock block FE with some touch ups and 300 shot. has touched 9s.imagine 700 hp and 800 ft lbs. LOL. consistent 10s. its ladder bar in the rear stock, so it launches like a beast. its just the car that me and friends cruise the strip, and take for sunday drives. im always the sober driver, so it hauls drunk kids well. everyone laughing as we do one leggers on the back streets. i need it to be faster though, without that jump, im sure they would have pulled me. cause it was a helluva run. still not bad for a train. LOL. laters

BULLs***

No way 700hp and 800ft/lbs motivates that boat to 9's on stock suspension. Hell, no way you're making any of the claimed power outputs you have all over. Shut up and go back to driving your 275hp magical S2000.

No, but I happen to agree with much of what he says about this joker. If nothing else, I'll give S2ooo credit for being able to craft quite a story.

Hey vegas, you shuld throw a hondadata on the truck and create a swirl effect it the maifold by moving the injectors. Should be good for another 200 rear wheel. This story is bs just like your s2k stories are.

Why do you lie so much?

While I am at it ...

The 390 was not the shortest stroke FE, the 332 was with the 360 being a close second.

Surely someone who built such a car and had even the most basic Ford knowledge would know this.

stock 390 FE bored .30 makes 406
Those numbers don't add up -- and I would assume you mean a .030 over-bore. What did you change the crank/stroke to?

I'm also quite curious as to how you fixed your high compression problem with new jets.

Whew! You guys are tough.

Guess I shouldn't tell the story of how I embarrassed the guy in the 911T with my modified Vespa scooter, huh? (It's amazing what you can do by boring out its cylinder.) HPH
