carrera 4S vs S2K
hi guys.. well i donnow if u have the carrera 4s in the usa.. i had a street encounter with it in my S.. two times.. one from a roll and the other one from a stop. it was auto i guess for two reasons: 1- oftenly in kuwait people dont buy cars with manual sticks even if they were gonna buy a very sporty car!!! 2- bcz i killed him twice.. if it was manual i guess all i can see is its tail lights
from the stop he didnt launch good and i was two cars lengh ahead of him.. and to the ending of the fourth gear i was still ahead of him then the traffic light appeard.. in the second time we were cruising at nearly 20mph.. but he made the full throttle before me in split seconds and he was half a car ahead of me.. and the distanse didnt change after the ending of my third gear.. then he turned right and went away shaking his hands to me.. thats all.. what do u think guys?

Imagine putting an auto in the S2000, it woould probably easily add 1 sec onto your times. The Porsche has nice torque after 3500 RPM, but before that it takes time to accelerate. It is not like a Corvette, with the massive torque off the bat. Luckily, it is rumored to have a SMG in the next iteration. The tiptronic is a good auto, but any self respecting Porsche owner shouldn't get auto (just like if it were offered on an S).

There is a yellow C4S sitting in my garage next to my spa....
If he left it in auto, and didn't take it into tip, I suppose it is possible, and if so, nice kill! It is heavier than a C4 and shares an engine... I personally like the S more than the Porsche, but there is no way I could beat that thing unless a jacka$$ was driving it... Then again, my dad raced profesionally, and could whoop my
in a pinto...
Damn fine car, but not my cup o tea... I wish my father would find a better place to store his crap...
Saud2k, cars are generally watered down when taken out of their home market... look at the S, 250 in Japan, 240 everywhere else...

I once drove a coworker's Arctic Silver 993 C4S about two years ago. That was a damn nice car. The brakes and clutch were much heavier than I was used to, but it stopped on a dime. I loved the sound of the engine behind me.
My manager had an Arina Red (not sure about the spelling) 993 Carrera S. I also got to drive this one as well. I love the red Brembos and body kits on the Porsche S's.
