Default Chances versus a Firebird?

Hi,

My friend is coming into town and I know he's going to want to have some fun, so here's my question.

How will my s2k do versus his 2002 Pontiac Firebird / Auto / V6?

I was trying, to no avial, to find any data on the firebird such as, stock 1/4 mile, 60 time, etc. Anyone with some insight on this? Thanks.

V6 autobox? No problem - you got it.

If it were an LS1 M/T, all you'd see is Firebird taillights.

Your friend will get reamed in every type of street or sanctioned race known to man.

FYI, if I'm not mistaken, all "Firebirds" are V6's. The Trans Am's are the V8's, just in case you come up on a Firebird with dual exhaust on the street. Just look to see if it's a 'bird or a TA. Needless you say, you will rape him.

I though at first it was the LS1 V8 Fbody.. (it would eat you alive) the V6, don't even bother racing.. your friend will be demoralized...

Hey, guys, we all know how powerful an LS1 is, but don't go saying he'd get raped.

I raced a convertible WS6 from a stop to about 60mph, and actually had about half a car on him at 60mph. Sure its not typical, and the chances are he couldn't get traction, but don't always discount something like that.

This race was done between two downtown office buildings, and both of us had aftermarket exhaust. About two hours later I came on the board and someone had already asked if there had been an S2k racing outside his office building.
