Wow, I just looked this up, the Car and Driver test of the 2008 Charger R/T put the weight at 4141 lbs. You read correctly, that's over 2 tons. They tested the 1/4 mile at 14.2 @ 101mph. Definitely quick for a big car but it sounds about even with a stock S2000.

I can assure you that a Ford modular of any valve count short of an 03' SVT S/C will not eat even a bone stock S. Been there, done that.

 

I raced my friends na cobra (01 or 00, don't know Mustang years) and won. Just cause something has a v8 doesn't mean it's fast.

 

My point exactly. And the NA Cobra you reference is 305bhp, quite a bit more than a 4.6L SOHC Mustang. Haters gonna hate, it's normal.

 

Raced a charger in my old s2k.. 60-130 put about 10 cars on him. Wait he didnt know i was turbo'd :-D. Have the video somewhere let em find it.
