Just to ket you know...the racing for slips part was a joke...just wanted to add some more humor to that awesome thread about the guy in the Prelude who wanted to race him for slips.

It is pretty cool how both S2000 and MR2 enthusiast group together enough (via message boards) that I would be successful in getting on here and naming one guy, and you all know exactly who it is. That is pretty awesome. And the same would probably happen if one of you S2000 guys got on the MR2 message board and asked that kind of question...we all are so aware of all the MR2's in our area and all over the city for that matter!

Most people are going to look at my username and think that I just got on here to talk sh** and mess with people. Actually, I chose that username to kind of start some stuff, but I have a lot of respect for the S2000...think it is a great car, of course I love the MR2 as well! The only thing us 90-95 Turbo MR2 guys have on you is we can add power a little easier and less expensive only because our cars are already turbocharged...so all you really have to do in the beginning is raise the booost on a stock MR2 and you can make about 200 -210 rwhp without any fuel mods and without much else. But both our cars are very similar in that they take to the road like sh** on grass ??? No, but seriously, they have optimum weight distribution for handling the twisties...they are 2 seater cars...who wants the cheese-dick back seats that you can fit your jacket in? And they have BEAUTIFUL LOOKS...BOTH CARS!!!!! I have been looking at the S2000 since before it hit the dealerships in '99. The car is awesome but I don't know much about all the specifics...and have never had the opportunity to drive one! So I got on this board mainly to learn more about the S2000 and to mess around with my username...I do love to race though in any case! Not "for slips" he he.

And now let me speak about what I do know about this video. I know the guy in the white MR2 Turbo. This race was in Houston...man, I am forgetting where I am...you guys might know who that S2k guy is!!! Anyway, I am friends with the white MR2 owner... his name is Albert. And I know for sure that the S2k is Supercharged because if it was not, Albert would have ran off and left him from "go!" Albert has a nicely modded MR2 Turbo and it IS FAST AS HELL! This race is a very good race...but Albert barely beats the S2000. Let me put it this way, my car is pretty damn fast at the point I am at and Albert freakin leaves me like I am standing still! I know for a fact that I am too much for a stock S2k (only because I have some mods and higher boost)...so that will tell you how much faster Albert is than I! But in any case...HELL OF A RACE!

Albert is a nice guy, his car is fast...well, after he turned the boost up, that is. Albert's on this board, on occasion.
