Does the TB coolant bypass work for you? I had mine bypassed with my 68mm throttle body before I sold that POS. I couldn't tell a difference. I know the lude and teggy guys do it, but did you notice anything with the stock TB?

Well... what is nicely? Did he pull some... yes some, would I consider it nicely? not particularly, in fact if the driver of the vet was expecting to pull away "nicely"... i would say he was rather embarrassed as his attempt. It was quite a pitiful attempt really after all said and done. I mean to go from 45 - 105 and spread the distance between us 2-3 cars worth with his jump, is this going to be a proud owner of a new 430hp C6?

I like C6's but I S2Ks. An S keeping up w/ a 'Vette is more reason for me to love it.
Thats what I felt after the encounter.

I'm not even crazy boosted either, 8psi with stock size exhaust, still running stock ecu and injectors. With all do respect to the vet, he still pulled a good 20' on me

atleast three cars......

I'm not doubting your story, just laying down the facts. since you claimed it was new, maybe he was still breaking her in and didn't want to push it too hard. nevertheless good race.

Thanks it was fun. It was a C6 but not new enough to still have temp plates. So who figures out these facts on what my car will do against a C6? lol Have you raced one?

Yeah I wasn't in his car so he could have been pussy footing. I think you know as well as I, if you got some Honda thing behind you that you want to show what time it is in your vet, that you are not going to give it a half ass attempt when you intentionally slow down to get your car in the sweet spot of the gear, and realize that Honda isn't really going anywhere, your going to put your foot through the firewall in hopes he does disappear on the next gear right? lol I'm sure he was banging the gears, he's got more pride at stake then i do

Whats the drivtrain loss on a vet? 50hp? what do they weigh 3200? If we consider 3 cars nicely then I guess he could have pulled on me nicely, but 3 cars would be giving him the benefit of the doubt at that. I have to say from my prospective it didn't seem all that nice. If i were driving that vet i would have been utterly ashamed

yep, 430hp it has the all new Ls2 i believe its 6.2ltrs. maybe a 70mm exhaust would help you keep up probably
05-07 had the LS2 w/ 400hp

08+ LS3 430hp (436 w/ bimodal exhaust option)

I know I'm being picky but just giving some info.

Good run and that's got to be a good feeling keeping up with a car like that. I've seen lightly modded C6's trapping 114+ in the 1/4.

Good info, thanks. Yeah I am rather proud. I have owned my S for almost 5 years now and feel like she is at least a respectable performer in the high output power league of todays sport cars. I hate to be the one to fall just short however so there is plans for a little more power in the near future
