I was in Manhattan going to my friends apartment in mid-town. I got to a red light and stopped and put my right blinker on. All of the sudden the car behind me starts honking away. I look in the rear view and i see the passenger flipping me off and it looked like she was shouting something. They kept honking and started revving it up. I didn't move because the last thing you do in NYC is make a right on red because of all the pedestrians. Then they peel out and go on my left and the passenger flips me off and makes a right turn from the left hand lane. I said to myself a line from Dumb and Dumber, "You are one pathetic loser". 5 seconds later i see NYPD lights flashing away in my rearview. The cop gets next to me and makes the right. I figured he was going on a call since there are always calls in NYC. I make the right turn and see the lights of the cop car on the right side 2 blocks up. I get closer and see that the cops actually have that same car that was harrassing me pulled over. I pull next to the car and roll down my window and start laughing. One of the cops says what are you laughing at. The other cop says he was the car that they cut off. The other cop laughs and says to the driver, you hear that your in trouble. I drove off thinking for the first time ever satisfied after someone pulls an asshole move on the road. Justice served.

 

I love it.

Don't know how many times I see an idiot doing something stupid and wonder "man, wish a cop saw that..."

mgiang7, you can't make rights on red in New York City (5 boroughs), if you go out to long island you can (most places), the same applies to upstate ny.

 

Thats ONE, what about the rest?
