Default does tq matter?

On the highway, if two cars take off from a roll with same whp ex.

Rsx with 350whp fwd
S2k with 350whp rwd of course a slight edge of torque on the s2k

Who would win with all things equal

tq won't be the deciding factor... you have to take into consideration weight, gearing, aerodynamics, power under the curve, etc.

so yes tq matters more then most people think. It really matters under the curve.
Lets say you have 2 s2ks both with 350whp at 9000rpms. one is turbo and one is super charged.
the turbo is producing 240ft/lbs at 6000rpms and the super is only putting out 210 at that same rpm level, the turbo car will get to the finish line first every time.

but what about an rsx with similar power compared to an s2k? would the less power train loss in the fwd make it faster?

What do these questions have to do with FI??
You may get a better response in the street encounters forum
We try to avoit paper/bench racing in here. Go and race and report back with your findings.

this has to do with FI because both cars are turboed, I'm trying to get the technical aspect if tq would play a roll, this doesnt go into street because theres no one racing here

lol Ya tq plays a roll. I am confused as to why youre talking about drivetrain loss when your originally posted 350 "WHP"
