drove next to a 350z today
Just finished my meal at my friend's graduation dinner party. Oh, I just grad last friday too btw
so anywho, I pulled out into the street and there just happens to be a 350z right next to me. I still had only one bar on the temp, so I wasn't going to push my S anytime soon. Out of the corner of my eye, it looked as thought they were jumping around in the Z tryin to get my attention. So then I looked over and the girl in the passenger seat was just laughing her ass off, I guess he told her a really funny joke.
I proceeded to drive at my normal pace, shifted at 4k, which I normally do and so the Z assumed I wanted to race with him. He then guns it and rips through the small street at noticable speeds. At the following light, I made my turn home and he looked over and gave me a smirk as though he had beated me in a race or some sort. As if I'm really stupid enough to race with a guy in a residental area. So then I give him a gay peace sign for respect towards the Z, but sorry fellas I guess he totally beat me in a race that I wasn't aware I was in.
Then people will ask for the purpose of this, no this isn't a venting post, its just a post to share one of those
experiences that people run into almost everyday.

That is one of the reasons I hate the 350Z. It isn't really the car but the owners. Bear in mind I am not the type of person that generally applies stereotypes. It has just been my experience time and time again, that the guy described above is the typcial 350Z owner. One that bought a car based on some looks, has no clue about cars, engineering or even the capabilities of his own car, and wants to impress some people, especially girls by acting like a jack@$$. Sorry for the run-on sentence.
Unfortunately, I have come to associate that asinine behavior of the owners with the car--and thus, I hate the car. Sad really, that there are so many jack@$$'s out there . . . . . .

3fiddyZ,
I don't know you and you are probably pretty cool.
But read my post. I specifically mention that I am not the usual stereotype person. I also mention that it has occurred so many times . . . . . that meeting a decent guy in a 350Z has been an exception. So much so, that I can only remember it happening once . . . . . ever.
I'll give the car it's due on looks. But in general it attracts a certain crowd that I'm just not down with.
