fairly fast srt4. i filmed the cl65 vs c6 z06 race, and josh (cam owner) filmed georges races. very sweet.

 

it was such a good run the 3rd time. whats really cool is that dave can keep up in his s2k and get good video.hes right on our side usually and gets really good front tire shots.

george and i have raced many times. with an agreed outcome. we are pretty much dead even. he has put me at his taillights about 3-4 times, and i have put him at mine about the same. we go back and forth.
thats the beauty of it, he has an 05. larger hotside on the turbo. the yellow car in the vid is more modded than the black one. and had slips for some 12.50s with him. so the black one hauls. and if that gives you a gauge of how fast my car is.
we would shoot vid this sunday, but george evo is in the shop, getting the trans redone. so we shall see who i can race sunday. lates dave

roll ons have nothing to do with ET.

 

if a car runs a 12.5 ET, it doesn't suddenly turn into a mid 13 second car from a roll. don't you agree?

it's on the street. there is no proof that guy ran even a 13 second pass much less a 12 second pass when he ran in the videos or any other time on the street.

it's just pointless to make any comparison of time of what someone ran on the track vs what they run on the street.

 

depends on what angle you look at it from.
the only reason to view it from this point, is to say YES this guy can drive.
whats important when you claim a win????

verify what car it was and hope you can ask, or guess its mods.
then, could the guy drive?? you can hear when someone shifts like an old lady, and they fall back every shift.
if the person is carrying a legit slip, you know at least that their car hauls in the 1/4, and they can launch and shift. like my ghia, it will get smashed at the roll ons, why, its not geared for that. so i dont even take it.

either way, this is george' post. id rather not muddy it up arguing about my car. george has vouched for how fast it is, and many others, but as you guys have requested, a video is coming soon. i only hope you can accept what you see on the screen.
