Ok, I just get on the freeway after going to Taco Bell for a late night snack. Its about a 20 min drive home so I start eating a taco before it gets all soggy Anyways I see these HID's coming up pretty quick, so im wondering what it is. I was in the slow lane on the far right (3 lane road) and there is a truck in the middle lane and instead of him going to the fast lane he gets behind me and gets on my ass. I put the taco back into the bag and speed up a bit so he can get past the truck and next to me. He pulls up and slows down next to me, I was like sweet, it was a Silver 350 and I have been wanting to run one forever.

I downshift and wait for him to go, he takes off and got about 1 car up and before I could blink I was already ahead of him. I started to pull away hard, I had maybe 5-6 cars on him, then started thinking maybe he let off, so I slow down. Once I let off he started catching up quick so I knew he was still on it. He gets next to me and slows down again. This time I leave it in 5th since we are at a pretty good speed. He floors it again and this time maybe only got 1/2 car up and I fly by him and just stayed on it, I put maybe 10 cars or so on him then let off. we take the same exit, I wave and he waves back and we go our separate ways.

I was actually a bit disappointed, i thought it would give me a better run, although it looked stock. I havent ran into any fast cars since my last upgrades, so its hard to judge how much faster the car is, although I can tell it pulls a lot harder. Anyways just thought I'd share

I call I've read the street encounters forum over on my350.com and from what I've read I'm pretty sure nothing short of a nitro burning funny car can outrun the 350Z.

ok dick. i said it sounds ABOUT right, i didn't say it was 100% dead-on accurate.

and last time i checked, a car that runs 13.9-14.3 (Z) would USUALLY get walked by a car that typically runs 13.1-13.6 (Evo). car lengths can get hard to judge once you get past about 4, so who knows how accurate the number was.
