So I'm feeling pretty good leaving work in my new S2... I go to Blockbuster and there's a guy sitting on the steps checking out my ride. I park it & put the top up. Walk towards Blockbuster the guy's still quietly sweating the car...... Ten minutes later I come out of Blockbuster Video & 2 guys get out of a new red 360 Ferrari Modena parked right next to my S2 on the right, only spot available to the right. My jaw dropped... As I walk towards the steps they walk around MY car! It was a father & son and the son was looking around the front of my car! I was on my cell phone and as I walked to my car I noticed a Winged Foot Golf Club on the smaller window on the side of their car. It's only like one of the hardest golf courses to get into in NY. I felt good that they were checking out my ride.... they have good tatse and the son must be a smart kid! It was a good day.....wish I had a camera!

 

I always felt that if you were a real car enthusiast what the car cost doesn't matter to you (rich or poor).

 

amen, thats the truth! Good story! I hate to stereotype, but the ferrari owner's ive met turn there nose up...especially 348 owners! probably pissed i paid less and can still beat them.

I'll bet you looked really cool talking on your cell phone...was probably some pretty important shit to discuss while looking for a movie.

Just tired of people who think they need to be on their cell phones 24 hours a day.... I would feel like a jackass walking anywhere talking on my cellphone.....

Hijacked thread....ahahah...... why is talking on a cell phone all of the sudden the worlds most important thing to do..... People talk in the grocery store, while getting gas, renting a movie.....Every janitor in the mall has a cell phone attached to his hip now......

Usually if you are talking on your cell phone while paying for something, you in effect are being pretty rude to the cashier, and those around you.......

It is not like I am some old bum or something... I make decent $, live in wonderfull suburbia....but I don't have the need to be over consumed with my cellphone. It lays in my cupholder..if it rings, and I am driving I say about 8 words and hangup.... i never carry it in a store with me, or restuarant, etc.....that is gay!

I totally agree! I purposly try to screw with people if they are driving while talking on their cell. I will get in front of them and downshift really fast to make them freak out. They soon after get the hint.

One other pet pieve of mine is when people are too damn lazy to use their phone like a phone and hold it to their ear. So instead they buy the stupid "drive thru window headset", and most of them think it's cool. I just love to get really close to them and talk really loud so they can't hear a damn thing. Or I will either look at them and say, "what?, were you talking to me?" just so it interupts their conversation.

Yeah, I can be a real dick sometimes if you annoy me.

 

That is funny that you say that.... I stood on the far side of some dick at a resturant and yelled over his head to my buddy as the dick tried to use his cellphone....while his semi-hot girl just sat there...... he kept looking at me funny and trying to cover his other ear....
