Fast 330Ci
I was in my friend's S2000 racing a 330Ci... My friend had his S for about 8 months now and is a good driver.. I have to say those 330's are FAST!!!!!!! Unless you know what you are doing and how to launch, there is no chance s2k will beat a 330.. That was quite an experience...

I can't see why you are all being such hard asses towards g-force, as if he can't drive cause he lost to a car that is almost as fast as the one he is. I am going to assume this was a drag race from a dead stop. If so, why is it so incredible that he lost? The S2000 is NOT drag racing car. Even when you are willing to do VTEC launches, it's going to take experience to do it right. Chances are, he may not have felt like doing a 6000rpm launch in someone elses vehicle, besides the point that he probably lacked the experience with the car to do it correctly.
Though the S2000 is a faster car 0-60, it's true strength would be in a nice 15 or 20 mph roll, or more acccurately, on an autocross course. A 330Ci has about 5.9-6.1 sec 0-60 potential. The S2000 has been tested anywhere between 5.2 and 6.1. Sounds like the better drag racing car won, regardless of ultimate potential.

If S2000 is not in proper gear to start with, 330 will be all over S2000. By the time S2000 gets into its powerband, 330 could be already pulling. At this time, S2000 does not have enough power to overcome the difference. But when S2000 is in the power band, it should be all over 330 without a doubt.
