Coming home from getting ready for hurricane jeanne today I pulled up next to a red ferrari It had 355 spider on the rr corner. There were two people in it. We started slow off the light and then both of us hit it. I thought I'd get walked like a maranello does to me...but NO!!! We were a dead heat through 3 gears. When we backed off I had him by half a hood.

All I got was a strange look...no thumbs up but my smile made it plain I was happy.

355's are low 13 sec. cars. Back in the day they were real fast. like how Ferrari makes very nice gains from model to model.

348 = low 14 sec. car
355 = low 13 sec. car
360 = mid-low 12 sec. car
430 = ????

 

You're supercharged, so I wouldn't be too surprised. F355 were low 13's to flat 13. They were and are very very nice looking.

Yep! In addition the F430 is on par with the current 996TT! also low 12's or quicker.

But the F355 is still a V8, so even though it's a low 13 sec car, I'd imagine it still hauls from roll on, and deep into the triple digits. If it had the F1 tranny big advantage to the 355 from a highway roll.
