Well the night started out with the RSX type S against the SRT-4 and the outcome ending up being SRT by about 3 car lengths. So I decide to run the RSX and I pull right from the beginning and continue to pull all the way to 130, I end up winning by a couple car lengths. Then me and the srt-4 go and right from the start he pulls ahead and continues to pull. I miss 5th so I shut her down, I figure he would of been about 1-2 car lengths ahead in the end.

The SRT-4 was a stage 1 and the RSX had the following mods

ESMMs
Revo SS
Capyoda bushings
Neuspeed Race Springs
SPC Rear Camber Kit

Actually I thought it would have been somewhat closer between you and the SRT4 because Stage 1 prolly does just a tad more than putting NOS stickers on the car!!!

 

what speed where you guys starting at and what gear were you in?

damn that rsx was not that great of a driver. It took him for ever to shift.....waaahhhhhhh.........wahhhhhhhhhhhh, fell back like 2 cars just on that one shift

 

We went from a 40 roll and I was in 2nd. Should I have been in another gear? I tried to be at 6,000rpm when we started.

 

i was just wondering. As long as you're starting the race in vtec (or very very close to) then you're good. i'm not sure where 40 puts you in second on an ap2 but that sounds right to me. time to start modding

 

It's would be the best to raced at 45-47. I have raced w/SRT-4 bone stock from 45 to 100. First i pulled then he gained back from end of 3rd, we were dead even till 100 and both has to shut down.
