Back in early December I bought my 3rd s2000, but only take it out on nicer days (Canadian winter + Salt = )

My buddy recently picked up a new 2008 black Sky Redline from saturn. He loves the s2000 but claimed every video he saw on youtube/streetfire, the Redline beat the S quite handily...

Naturally, we had to line them up when the weather was right....I had a 150lb passenger....and a few things against me (CDV FTL ).

He lined up beside me in 1st gear around 3k rpm and gunned it without honks.

I quickly caught up in second, winding to the 8krpm redline, snick into 3rd. By the top of 3rd I had roughly a car on him. Going into 4th I started pulling harder.

I let off and we slowed down, heading back to the parking lot where we first started out.

"we were neck and neck", he laughed.....


I laughed, because considering he jumped the gun, I had a passenger and the cdv, I handily beat him Driver mod is boss

 

One of the guys where I work has one of these... all he does is talk about how "fast" his car is; too bad that really is all he can talk about.

I'm very patient; when the time is right, I will just have to school the boy.
