Default First time driving an S2000!

So today for the first time I got a chance to finally drive an S2K. Im in the process of looking for a really good condition AP1, but i happened to come accros an 05 S2K at an infinit dealership here in Omaha, NE. The experience was awesome! Short shifter 1st but redlined 2nd on the way back.... WOW! I've always thought VTEC was a joke bc my 98 accord EX had it and was nothing impressive, but the S2K is an entirely different story. Once that motor builds some revs, its on.
Sadly my search continues, as i dont intend on purchasing that specific one. I just wanted to drive one finally before i actually bought one. Hopefully ill end up getting one here in the next month or two. Prefferably white or black 01-02 ish. We'll see.
Just thought i'd share the experience.
Oh yeah by the way, the salesman was a rather large man and barely fit, he was scared sh**less when i brought it to redline. Haha. IT WAS AWESOME.

Sounds similar to my first time in an S. I took out a friends '04 and beat on it. ~6 months later, after a long search, I own one. You can fill in the details on what I thought about it

i went with my friend to test drive his S and bought one 3 weeks later! hearing that engine for the first time ever is quite a rush. i thought people could hear it for miles, and that was stock! my favorite thing to do is take it on the twisties while in vtec. the car pulls some serious G's.

i would get a glass window but the visibility is much narrower than my plastic, plus with the help of plexus it looks like glass anyways (cept for the annoying fold mark). plus it saves a few ounces.

I have the plastic rear window and its obnoxious. The glass gets just as good of a view from the inside of the car looking out. I agree with the vtec though. I owned 2 civics with vtec motors and neither of them acted like this does in vtec. Makes you realize just how serious of a car this is.
