Default Flashing Lights From Behind

If your racing someone and you pull ahead by 3-4 car lengths and they flash their lights....is it the same as flashing your hazards when you've beaten them?

Does it mean that he's conceding you win?

That means he probably got a bad start. . . He wanted to race again.

I was at the light stopped and he was on a 8-10mph roll coming up on my left side waiting for the light to change....he actually had the jump on me when the light turned green.

Could it mean anything else?

Maybe he missed 2nd or something like that, and he wanted to do it over cause you were already 3-4 lengths ahead...?

It could be a showing of respect for beating him. As if to say.."nice run". I did that to a 04? Mustang Cobra after he handed me my ass.

That's what I was thinking but I didn't want to be too confident and it actually mean something else...

The guy lives close to me.....he drives a white acura integra slammed with full body kit.

I think he knows my cars potential and just wanted to test me. I'm not afraid to test cars that I know will beat me...... I've definately been handed my ass before in my 2nd gen eclipse.....it was by an "S"........

It is rather "hard" to say what flashing lights from behind means. I do it sometimes when I lose to my friend (Supra TT) and it signals to him that he won, and no need to go at it anymore. More so when I have a fair race, and with someone and they won, I do it to show respect.

Though at times I also flashed my light to ricers flyby and guys who pull superman stunts weaving through traffic and basicly hitting the car they cut off if those cars didn't brake. Also at times when traffic is like jam pack and people still try to race.

As other have mention it could mean, bad start and need to run again.

People just think I flash them because of my HID lights.
