Alright... I know that I can't be the only one frustrated with this, but it happened to me today for what (once I have enough cash!!) was the last time! I can not COUNT the number of times someone pulled up to race... and there I sit, like an impotent 18 year old in a strip club... useless without my Vortech! Today, aka... the last straw, was a new STi. I had just pulled out of my driveway, intentionally a little late as usual , and I pulledl up to the corner to turn onto the Highway service drive before the onramp. Just then, the white STi pops out from behind a dumpster or something and starts violating my personal space . He proceeded to ride my ass onto the onramp, and then onto the highway... me, still limp. He finally backs off... assuming that he just beat me with the scared stick. then... ....I hit Three bars... DOH!

By this time, I had tried to slow down and see if he still wanted to go... but my man had better things to do. ...like the next offramp.

I KNOW this has happened to more of you out there. How many of you find yourself sitting at intersections next to a new Vette, or a GT... or even something exotic, just BEGGING the second bar light up. When it does, you wipe the cold sweat and get on with your business...

...but damn those times it.... takes.... too.... looooooooooooooooonnnnng!

So your car wasn't warmed up bars or like boost bar?

Not sure, i'm not blown, but i could imagine maybe not leaving the house so early and allow it to warm up would fix that. If its a boost thing. hmm.

nope... ufortunately not boost.... hmmm... Yes, I'm referring to the "warmed up bars". Sometimes, in a busy life... there's not always enough time to fully warm up the S. Most people who work for their money, know that. but... when I can avoid leaving early, I will...

thx

Sometimes I wonder about you. You make some of the strangest posts ever. Just a vibe I get.

So let me get this straight you can't wake up early enough to heat up the car?...Get a remote car starter, if it's that much of an issue. You work for the money, spend it in a good way.

So NO ONE out there has EVER not had time to warm up there car... I did not realize that every S owner other than myself was so perfect...

As for the post... just tryin to have a little fun with what I write, as I say to the ONE or TWO unfortunate critics I get on evvvveerrry thread. Just got to work with what you got sometimes, I guess... catch ya later Siskel...

see... I'm glad someone finally smells what I'm stepping in...

Unfortunately, when I posted this... it didn't cross my mind that the majority of the S owners on this site are from WARMER climates... If you're from anywhere that it snows for more than 6 months a year like me... you've been there done that with the whole "warming up bars" thing...

The bars are coolant temp, oil temperature is more important and takes much more time.

Very true as well. Optimal oil temperature is probably not reached until at least 10 minutes of driving.
