Default G35 vs STi

So my buddy and I are in his auto trip-tronic G35 on the freeway and this white STi pulls up next to us trying to pace at around 70-75mph. I noticed he had the high wing, STi emblem and big hood scoop. He had exhaust and sounded mean. So my buddy tapped it down to 3rd or 4th and we were off. The STi kind of stayed with us up till 90, then we pulled harder and harder and went up to around 135 and he was around 5 cars back maybe. I told my buddy if we were at a light or if he had upgraded stage, we would have had our asses handed to us probably. But I have noticed auto G35 coupes will beat manual G35's from a dig and roll. Both my buddys have each version.

not sure, could have, Im just goin by what I saw. But ya, STi's can be pretty lethal depending on how the race starts, mods and driver. For example, I have beaten STi's on slower rolls before in my S and then I have lost to them on higher/freeway rolls.

I could see a stock G35 pulling a stock STI with just a catback exhaust from a high speed roll..
