So yesterday I was exiting the gate to my community and as I come to the main street and look left I see this Black Lambo Gallardo exiting out the other community gate heading my way. He passes me and I go with no intent to race just admire the car. We come to the stop sign and I snap a pic of the rear with my camera, about 2 hundred feet after the stop sign it turns into 2 lanes and he takes the insde line. So I swing to the outside lane and snap a pic of his quarter panel/rear view. Then he slows and gives me this look like WTF?! The light turns red and we come to a stop and he rolls his window down he says: "Thats an S2000 right?!" Of course I say yes. He replys: "My cousin has a 2002 Silver those **ckers are pretty quick and handle good!" So I say: "Thanks I heard those LAMBOS are nothing short of all that!" The light turns green (no traffic in sight behind or in front of us) the driver of the lambo says: "Want to go at it!?" So I said: "Sure why not!" Just to let you know the road leaving our community is about 7.5 miles long and it runs straight through a canyon so you can imagine how fun the road is. For about the first 1.5 miles its 2 lanes and the rest is one lane. Anyway he lets me go first and Ive got the pedal so far into the floor I though I was going to bust through the floor board! I get 2 cars ahead of him and he just flys past me. The canyon road starts and I gotta give it to him he was pushing that thing pretty hard. The closest I got to him was about 2 cars on a continous *S* CURVE in the middle (the road is a very high speed drive triple digits can be reached) but other then that I was doing 100-107 the whole time and he had about 4-5 cars on me. Almost every turn I came out of he was going into the next (the turns are pretty spread out). I come out of the last turn and he is already sitting at the stop light w/his blinker on waiting for the light to go green to head towards the freeway. I turn with him and he slows throws a and salutes me So I throw the peace up and salute him back. It was fun, considering my S is basically stock besides the AEM V2 intake and Neuspeed springs and stock S03's.

Awesome run! That owner sounded like a pretty cool guy too. The other day I saw an F355 entering a fwy ramp, but too bad I was stuck at a red light on the opposite side of the road...woulda loved to play.

 

Post the picture you got of the Gallardo...I would love to see it. That car is sweet.
