I was on the highway with my sister, top down, just cruising, when i look behind me and see this crazy looking car coming up on the left lane... I quickly tell my sister to get her camera, which took what felt like forever...

The guy looks over at me and smiles... i smile back as well, and at that exact moment my sister gets out her video camera... i look ahead and see a whole bunch of cars in front of me, with the guy in the GTO having a clear sail...i downshift into 4th gear and start to accelerate and the guy downshifts as well...

I started around 65 and went to 6th gear... ill let the video speak for itself, but i can only imagine that he gained back the lead i got on him early with better aerodynamics (top down) and some mods... It definitely didn

we have the chevy Lumina SS (kuwaits' GTO) and i see many of them walking Porsche turbos and ferrari 430's on a regular basis last week i saw 1 rape an 07 Turbo. (4 car lead )

Goat is just the nickname given to the original GTO back in the late 60's. Sorta like the S2000 nickname for some is the stook.

 

yea these things are real strong on the highway....in fact anything with an LSx in it with some mods are.

are you turbo'ed or SC'ed? how much power are you makin?

 

i love those GTOs. talk about bang for the buck.

I'm turboed, making 384 whp. It was funny because i have raced other GTO's, LS2 ones with mild mods and have had no real issues with them, so this definitely was a surprise!


fun race though, makes me want to finally build that exhaust and up the boost...
