I was cruisin' along today in a 45 mph zone, top down and enjoying the day when all of a sudden I see this red taurus fly by......and I mean FLY. I had this WTF look on my face for a couple seconds before I decide to see who the frack is driving that car. I finally catch up, and get beside him. He is doing 95 in a 45!! I look over, and it was a old man that looked like the guy from the Six Flags commercials! He flashed a thumbs up and just kept going. I slowed down and he flashed his hazards!!!! I almost had a wreck I was laughing so hard. He was stopped at a light before an exit, and he smiled and waved. Oh well, for some reason I felt obligated to share that. It made my day.

And for you to catch up to him, you had to go like 130 or something. I think I see a problem here....

 

From the look on his face, it seems like he was enjoying himself. It's not as bad as it sounds. I live in a rural area, but that was pretty fast. A guy I used to do landscaping for while I was in highschool got ticketed for 98 in a 55 once. He was 72 at the time and was just cruisin in his Towncar. My Wife's grandfather is 73 and has a C5 vette with the plates "IMREDE2". Gotta watch those "old" folks.

 

I think he sped up once he noticed he had company. I didn't go over 95 to catch him, so he definitely sped up. No, no problem.
