Daniel at R&D Motorsports has this 92 civic hatch he has been threating me with now for about a month. Today I decided to give it a go. We did several 20-70mph runs today. I'm not embarrasted to say he pulled me everytime. It was fun. He's done all kinda of nasty things to his car and it sounds like a funny car at idle and screams all the way to it's 9200 rpm redline. Guys- don't bash me too much for the lose.

 

Anyone want to host the MPEG? Chris, you are not the first victim to fall to the R&D Hatchcrap. I did not tell you about this, but the boys over at European Road and Racing called one day wanting me to run against his E28 M5 (1988 with cams and goodies). I told him, "why not run Daniels hatch..." Let me just say that he was pretty embarrassed!

Speaking of no shame....

I just did something REALLY stupid in my S.... Making a left turn onto my street, I nailed 2nd gear coming out of 1st near redline. Normall my car grabs, squats and launches, but OH NO not this time!! I think I almost did a 180 right in traffic and went into the soft median, thank god for no curbs here.... Just got some dirt on the tire and MAJOR loss of Cool points... Overall it was fun and David, I wish you had that camera because I'm sure it was quite funny....

Never do that on a cool night with cool tires... Hmm. A lesson learned?!

Dont' feel bad. I got smoked by a small hatchback too. 92 as well. Except this guy buried me cuz he has a car that runs high 11's. And it's all motor too!!! The guy was cool as hell. I see him at the street races a lot.

 

I have a bunch of friends with motors swaps...trust me, I know what they're capable of

ls/vtec, b20/vtec, b16, b18, b20, spoon ctr.....
