Default gotta love the double standard

When a civic puts on a Type R wing and a CTR body kit and Type R rims and a big sticker on the windshield it's rice. But when a mustang does something similar, it's not rice.

Right.

LOL! I can definitely see the double standard. I don't see why that car wouldn't be called rice, but an import that's modified in the same manner would.

lol. i know what you are saying.

It's just a different kind of rice. Putting badges or parts on your car to make it look like something it's not.

It's just funny because in some of the discussions from the same web site, these guys will tear apart a civic for having the civic type R body kit and type R badges.

But when a V6 mustang puts on parts and badges for something it's not, that's not rice.

It's a double standard.

actually i would feel it more ricey if the guy put on cobra emblems... but yeah i dont like the looks of that car anyway... its just a steeda mustang and i dont really see it posing like anything... i mean a v6 with a saleen body kit isnt rice is it? it all about how you do it.....

It'd be kinda like taking your focus and putting SVT badges on it. yes, some of them argued and said it was rice. My talk about the double standard was for those who would call the civic rice, but the mustang not. I know not everyone there said the mustang WASNT rice.

Oh, and it's not just a wing, from what I understand. It is a saleen wing, specifically.
