I was cruising with a buddy of mine, showing off my car... and going pretty fast on a back road, I encounter a later Z28. When he sees whats behind him, he takes off.... now im not the one to street race, but we were on some nice backroads in western maryland, early on a saturday morning, so I figured, what the hell. I had a route in mind to take my buddy on (it was actually part of the 2003 FC driving route in hagerstown MD) and this camaro kept turning where I wouldve. Although a little faster in the straights, I would catch up to him in the turns... These are the encounters I like to have, one enthusiast chasing another, fooling around on some fun backroads. Thought id share! High reving agianst a tourqe monster, fun stuff... luckily no deer cut us off!

 

what a blast! Although ridiculously dangerous, that is the kind of street racing I enjoy, because I'm a road course nut at heart, never a drag racing fanatic.

 

damn. takes me back to the tail of the dragon. i so wish i could go to DBR this fall, but the money is going toward a house. next spring though!

I'm with you on that one wisconsin...I wont be able to make it this year, but i'll be there next year for sure.
