Default Heavily modified AP1 vs Lightly modified AP2

So basically I have a run set up with my friend tomorrow night, he has a 2000 AP1 with..

Comptech Icebox intake
DC sport header
HKS 3 inch exhaust
T1R test pipe
Mugen ecu/tune
inline pro r200 differential/set up
ACT stage 2 clutch

Forgot to mention

*AP2 transmission*

And I have a 2005 AP2 with..

Berk Technologies Test Pipe
AEM V2 cold air intake

We are going to do a dig (dead stop run) and a 20 roll.. I'll try to update with a video tomorrow night or Monday!!

You can select more than one answer..

Who do you guys think will win??

He may have the edge on you if his tune and mods worked together to improve his performance(ive seen ppl loose power with pre-tuned ECU's without the proper mods to support), his mid range and top will be a bit more....Im not a fan of pre-tuned ECU's though...you have a better chance from a roll, from a stop he'll out lauch you good luck

He has a DC header which is known to lose power so good chance it messed his whole exhaust flow up and lost power. I would think you would win.

Just assume the drivers are equal..

What do you predict the outcome would be??

if drivers are equal as said, the AP1 should have no problem pulling from a 20 roll..
but 20 is still a disadvantage for the AP1 and an advantage for the AP2. try a 30 and there's no way you're gonna catch ..

tires will play a big factor from the dig.
what tires are you both running ?

Don't let us down.

Miss my ap1, but would never look back.

Shift that ap2 like you stole it.

Wish there was an ap1 around here for a friendly run. It's been too long.

Be safe and report back with a vid.
