On hwy 100 last night I came across a pretty stock looking Sentra. I knew it was modded because he had 3 gauges in the pillar, so I knew Turbo. He got next to me and started goosing it. I heard the turbo We had a lane between us because of traffic. He gunned it first and I gave pursuit in 2nd gear. He had to shift and I got all of my lost ground back. Now I shift to 3rd, which is my homerun gear. We are neck and neck and 3rd never let me down in close races....NEVER.....Damn, he let off the gas. Once again I didn't get to see a defined outcome. That car was NIIIIIICE. I gave him a thumbs up and told him I loved what he did to it. He gave me a thumbs up and made a quick right just in case cops saw us. I hit the next street and hid for a while then hit the cruising spot again. I looked for him to maybe get a part 2 but never saw him again. Damn Boost ....No I didn't spray him.
I don't count this as a kill, but it was a dang good race.

Oh, on the way home, Raced a Modded Supra on the freeway. I knew I would lose because I heard about the car. His previous Supra ran 10's. We both gunned it and I got about a car jump. I tried to hold my ground but he was able to pass me anyway. Once he got ahead I was able to stop his pulling before he shut down. I think Oh well. It was a nice car. Now, I should have sprayed him. But again, I wanted to see how I would do NA.

Sweet, those Supra's are torque monsters, you think if you were on the bottle you would have kept up or past him?

Yeah, no doubt. He was slowly pulling past me. I have the 100 jets in there.

That Sentra was probably equipped with an SR20DET motor.

Hey thats a cool story. Its nice to see that even when some of the fastest cars get beat or have a really hard race, they can still tell everyone about it. I lost to a hatch-crap civic once...a bar of boost does wonders for even the little engines!

I've been playing Gran Turismo 2 this week a lot. In my garage is a 98 Lancer Evo V with over 400 hp and torque. The Lancer, if I remember, only costs about 30,000 dollars. Supercars like NSXs and Tommy Kaira EEs or whatever cost over 80,000. Still, this Lancer Evo starts off from a standing point better and gets farther the first few seconds. Could it be its tires? (The car has sports tires and other mods)

Can't the motor only fit in RWD cars? Unless the sentra was converted to RWD, which i doubt, it wouldnt be possible to put that motor into that car.
