Default HELP with psychological problems!!

I think I am becoming a stalker. Do you recognize any of the following ???

I was pulling out of Home Depot and merged onto the street. Lo and behold a black Ferrari F355 F1 comes driving along. The sound of his exhaust is utterly insane (sounded like a TUBISTYLE exhaust).

The guy is driving in the right lane 10km/h below the speed limit. VW bugs are passing him, hyundais, ford focuses, etc. I drive behind him hoping he will merge onto a nearby highway.

At the next intersection he pulls into the gas station and I think to myself 'Damn, so much for that'. I continue on heading towards the main highway and think "but what if the guy comes out and gets on the highway? What kind of missed opportunity would that be?". I proceeded to slow down and wait at the next intersection. I figure that he should be on his way if I am lucky in the next 3 minutes.

Listening to the radio at the intersection, I start thinking to myself "Rob, you are stalking a car. Maybe you should seek some help becau" - Right there I cut myself off as I heard the magical Ferrari heading right towards me. I proceed to thank all known gods and pull out of the intersection back behind the F355. 1 block later, we merge onto the highway. I disable my DSC, hit the SPORT mode and keep it revving high in a low gear. I am counting down until he takes off. My heart is going crazy and I am starting to giggle thinking "This will be awesome".

The moment never comes.

We get onto the highway and the guy just won't break 90 km/h (limit is 100). I look at him thinking "come on let's go dammit!!" but he just looks at me like I am crazy. The guy wasn't too old either. Man that sucked. Very anti-climactic.

Have any of you experienced this kind of mental sickness before? I honestly didn't think I would beat the older Ferrari, but I thought it would be relatively close as our 1/4 times are similar (low 13's).

HELP ME!!

Someone tell me that I am not crazy.

Yes, you need to get some help.

I think Ferrari does come with TUBI exhaust... though I had a chance to
ride in a 360 modena once.. I think the exhaust sounds better from
outside of the car... (but the driver didn't redline the engine... just casual
driving).

As for straight line speed... the new M3 is faster.
If i remember correctly, the F355 does 0-60 in around 5.4s???

For what it's worth I don't think your crazy, I followed a f355 f1 when they first came out for 2 miles just to hear the exhaust note. They don't come factory with tubi's and the 0-60 is sub 5 sec. depending on driver of course. If you start following suv's then you should be concerned!

Ya.. I am wrong about the tubi exhaust and speed of
355.... maybe it was 348 that is doing mid 5's??
