How many points are on YOUR license?
As of 10/18/02 I have a grand total of 6 points:
12/14/99 - Failure to obey left turn sign (1 point) -
09/14/01 - Unsafe Speed for conditions (1 point) - Twisties on Sunset Blvd.
12/08/01 - Exceeding 65 MPH maximum limit (1 point) - I think I was doing 90
01/28/02 - Failure to stop at red (1 point) - Floored it and ended up spinning my tires through the intersection at an attempt to get through the yellow. The cop nearly shit his pants.
02/13/02 - Engaging in Speed Contest (2 points)

License is currently suspended because of failure to pay fines in Washington State (Colorado License).
Currently I have two (overpriced) lawyers working on the issue, one in Seattle one in Denver. Between the two of them I suspect I am looking at a few grand, all because I was too damn lazy to do what I should have done in the first place.
What's funny is my Seattle attorney is named Scott Free. Get it .. off ____ _____. Yeah well it made me laugh.

Yep. I agree. My own laziness / stupidity resulted in this outcome and I have no one to blame but myself.
What's comical is how easy the system is set up to revoke your license and how difficult they make it to get it back.
Oddly during this entire process I have been pulled over in Seattle (failure to use a turn signal on the motorcycle) and fined for driving on a suspended license. A day later I was pulled over on my way out of Denver International Airport (speeding -- stupid) and the police officer said nothing about the license. The great thing about Denver tickets is that if you pay within 20 days it goes down as a non moving violation. Can you say taxation?
Live and learn.

So far I've been pulled over 3 times on a suspended license and towed twice. I just pulled my car out of the impound yesterday and there's a big mother****ing scratch on the trunk. Any ideas how to go about suing their asses?
