Hung with E46 M3
Expected him to walk away ... but it was dead even up through 80 MPH ... then traffic forced us to slow ...
I'm sure once I shifted into 4th, he would have started pulling on me, but it sure was fun to hang with an E46 M3 ...
BTW, top was down so I got to hear both engines scream ... AWSOME! Makes me
Oh yah, and it was one of the Laguna Seca Blues ... unfortunately the owner was a prick and wouldn't even look over at me at the next light. There was an accident up ahead with flashing lights all over the place so ... no more fun. Too bad (although perhaps a good thing, he didn't get an opportunity to stomp me
)
Have fun,
Derek

I raced one of those new Smurf Blue M3's as well. Nice car, very aggressive looking except for the color. I ran one from about 65 mph coming out of a merger up to about 110 mph. Wasn't much fun though, I don't think he realized that when you see a car with a HUGE intercooler in the front, you might want to think twice.
Shizon'00,
Haven't made it to the track yet, hopefully next Wednesday. I'm running low 12's on a G-Tech. Depending on how much boost I run, horsepower varies, of course. Normally on the street, I run somewhere between 6 and 8 psi which falls in the 300-320 RWHP range. I'm going to try to turn it up to 10 psi this weekend which should equate to just over 350 RWHP. And yes, it's pretty much a beast. I have trouble wiping the grin off my face when I'm driving. One of the best parts is when people who know a little about cars see and at first they think wow an S2000 (surprisingly don't see alot in Jacksonville) and then they catch a glimpse of my huge intercooler up front.

I drove an LSB M3 for a little while ... amazing car. If you kept up with one through some gear changes, then he was a crappy driver. The M3 has a great powerband that is as much fun as the S2K's VTEC range, only it's 50% harder and 50% longer.
I'm running street tires but they might as well be drag radials. In the rear, I have 265 35 18 BF Goodrich KD's, very good tires. They actually stick about the same as my drag radials, at least on the street. No rollcage and I really don't want to put one in that's part of the reason I haven't been to the track. I'm practicing, I know that I'm probably going to get one pass before I get the boot. I figure I'll try a couple slow runs just to get the launch down at the track and then I'll let it fly. Hoping to crack 11's.
