I <3 idiots
I was driving out of Brisbane's CBD through fairly heavy traffic yesterday afternoon, when I pulled up at a set of lights next to an 80's skyline. As far as I could tell, nothing done to it. There were two young guys in there, with music blasting. I ignored them as they revved at me, because, frankly, why should I waste the fuel, just to beat them to the next lights.
So the lights go green, and they leave the lights in cloud of smoke and revs. I putter off, shifting before vtec. See them at the next lights, and the passenger looks at me and laughs loudly. I glance on over at him and shake my head. Light turns green and he does it again. This time, however, there's a cop on a bike right behind him.... the red and blue's start flashing and he get's pulled over... game over.

you're pretty lucky you didnt get pulled too. some cops are assholes and would try and throw you in there with that idiot and say you enticed him or were pushing your car as well.
He thought I was redlining 1st gear, and tried to argue that I was trying to race someone (who, I don't know). It was funny demonstrating to him the 9k redline. He let me off with warning in the end.
