I Got Waxed!!!!!
Sorry everyone... I'm going to tell everyone about my shame today..
My girlfriend and I were heading up north I 35 today and as I was minding my own happy as$ business, this 93ish Civic hatchback bulls up to me... From what I can tell going aprox. 65mph, it looked bone stock w/ some mugen bronze rims and not muffler... After I sped up a bit to pass, I looked in the rear mirror and saw the INTERCOOLER 
.... Well I'm thinking w/ my CAI and VTEC controller I'd be able to beat it pretty easy.. boy was I wrong!!!! he pulled up to me and we took off after the 3rd honk.... I'm at around 6K when I take off.... flooring the bad boy... but all I can hear was his dayam turbo kick in and SMOKING by booty!!!!.... after a few runs I asked him how many lbs he's running... He states 10lbs w/ an engine swap... I didn't get which one, but I"m assuming the LS engine off an Integra or something close to it... Just thought I'd make someones day w/ this... I know it made my day worse....

What color was it, and what did the guy look like?
If it's who I think it might be, even if he didn't have the turbo, you'd have still lost. He beat me and Rasputin a long time ago when he was all motor (B20 black with b18 heads I believe).
Now that you've been initiated into the hatch club, anytime you see a hatchback want to race you, its usually safer to assume you will lose.
Do you know if it was the knewer hatch (more rounded, EH model I think) or the older (smaller, less rounded EG model)?
I DID race an EH model hatch with a turbo. Beat him the first time, then we raced when he had race gas in and it was pretty even.

S2kmugen, I'm going to say that it is not time for a turbo.
I commend his/her work to get that car to that level of performace. but, there is no modification that can give that blazing fast civic your car's level of refinement.

i agree with kamehamaha....at the end of the day he is still driving a CIVIC HATCH, and you are driving one of the most incredible machines out there....the S2000!
Its kind of like saying a civic beat a Porsche GT2 (by some miracle)....its still a porsche, so who cares!
