Vpers can be had around $53k nowadays.
I've seen some of the older ones, with really low mileage for sub $25k

I would have gone at it even if i knew i would have lost. I figure he'd be thinking WTF that 4cyl is almost keeping up with me! Thats good enough for me.

Of course my S/C is pretty quiet so there isnt an obvious BOV to let anyone know i have boost.

With your upgraded turbo you should be capable of 400-450whp. Which is pretty damn good for a 2800lb car with short gearing.

I wouldn't touch a first gen Viper. Second gen vipers start in the 30k range.. more for low mileage and unique colors..

Good run. I'd be happy just knowing I was only a few car lengths behind any model year Viper.

Of course, owning a stock S just means I'll be left 10+ big rig truck lengths behind from a dig... Or from any roll for that matter.

You seem to have all the fun. Since I've been SCed no one seems to want to run...GTOs, Corvettes, Porsches, etc. No go with any of them.

I only get pickup trucks and SUVs that try to cut me off.

Even if I knew I'd lose I'd give a Viper a shot. Like someone said, I would think he'd be surprised you were even keeping up with him. I'm up to 360-370 HP or so...I wonder if that would be good to keep up?

yeah, I mean he was faster but it was not like "holy shit he hes fast", it was more like, "yup hes faster".

I dunno if its where I live or what but I find myself always finding cars to race............
