THEY DID NOT MAKE A 2000 COBRA, THEY WERE FIXING THE PROBLEM THEY HAD (NOT AS ADVERTISED HORSEPOWER RATINGS) THEY FIXED IT AND THE NEW 2003 COBRA WITH 390 H.P. RUNS 4.8 SEC. 0-60 MPH STOCK. WHICH IS FASTER THAN ANY STOCK S2000.

The 03 Cobra has nothing to do with the fix in 1999 or 2000. The 99 model is a 4.6 V8 pushing 320 at the crank, but due to a manifold problem, the hp was dropped to 270. That's why they didn't make any in 2000, to satisfy the costumers and fix the problem. The 2003 is a 4.6 V8 with a roots type supercharger that is completely different than 1999 or 2000.

Nobody bad mouths mustangs, but people do get annoyed at how they are at every corner, and mostly all are cocky ignorant owners, but the same goes for civic and some Itr owners too. There are always bad apples to every kind of car.

 

not to sound like a sell out too but i like mustangs also!!

just will never get one out of fear for quality and long term reliability of the car. and trust me my buddy has one and that sucka broke once a year with something new each time. guess i learned american cars are kinda cool but quality wise they kinda suck ass.
