Important: Me vs Supra
So it was a lovely sunny day in Southern California. The sky was nice and clear, the breeze was perfect, cool mid 70's out. I was on the local blvd heading towards Sorrento Valley for what I dont quite remember, maybe just for a cruise with the top down, enjoying the sound of my engine, and mugen exhuast system.
I near a red light, in the center of a 3 lane blvd, when to the left I spy a Supra.
Gotta love supras, it caught my attention right away as I slowed to wait for the light to turn green, so I slip it into second gear, pass the chyrsler behind him and slow to show my presence right next to him. His windows were already lowered, so he looks over at me and asks if I want to play, I nod my head and he guns it. I'm still in second gear and I gun it and quickly the vtec and spooling comptech unleashes it's ugly head, letting out a little fish tail....As I shift into third, redline that too and hit fourth, I look back and he disapeared...not sure exactly where he went I immediately slow down. 10 seconds later i see his headlights, and I wait for him to catch up beside me again. As he does, he yells out his window, "NA, NA!!!" hahaha
forgot to mention that his license plate read, "smoked"
And surely that is what had happened....smoked by the S

OP also said that the supra owner said "n/a, n/a" as in...naturally aspirated, not turboed
s2khabitat, I could give less fck about if he's FIed or not and no I did not miss it. I don't believe OP posted his numbers? I was in doubt because OP describes as the car disappeared and 10 seconds later it caught up.

OP, nice Supra kill
...now go pick on something that stands a chance
yeah, but think about that for a second - "dyno queen" Supras, despite having too much power to get any traction at full-throttle, still make more than enough power at half-throttle (in an effort to reduce wheel spin, or eliminate it altogether) to pull away from from a comptech s/c'ed S2k with ease...so right away we know he didn't race a dyno queen Supra.
mind you, i'm not trying to reiterate the fact that the Supra he raced was N/A, as you've already been made aware of that. rather i'm just trying to explain it most likely wouldn't have been a "dyno queen" Supra (aside from the fact that they spend most of their time on the dyno and almost none of it on the streets LOL).
