So I'm on my way home from playing basketball, tired as I can be, just cruising at a fuel efficient 50 MPH. I pull up to this light, next to a young guy (I'm a young guy as well) in a Ford Focus. After sitting for a few seconds I look over at him, just has he's turning his head away from my car...he's shaking his head in disgust. "Stop laughing at my funny looking car!!!", I thought. Ha. So, when the light turns green he sorta guns it, and I act like I don't notice. He slows down to normal acceleration...I switch to 'S' mode, deciding that I need another story to post here. I floor it...the car revs up to 5,500 RPMs, and I'm off; well, not really. So the car's accelerating, but it's hard to tell - but I AM gaining on the guy. I gain, then gain, then even, then pass. Haha, toasted! Well, he might not have even been on the gas, but, he got beat.

There's just something inherently wrong with "Insight" kill stories.

 

Like everyone else says, a kill is a kill

 

So...does Comptec make a supercharger for the Insight yet.

 

Once the car is getting a consistent MPG (it's been rising consistently every since I started driving it - first tank 39.5, second tank 46.5, currently 47.5) I'm going to build a cheap custom CAI (sorta like I did for my S2000) to see if it gives the car even better gas mileage.

 

lol.. agreed.. Geo Metro next on the list of victims? Trek mountain bike? roller blader on the side walk.. just playing.. they are entertaining stories.

there was a Focus club on Westhimer one night.. about 10 or so.. all w/ the loud exhuast.. that was hilarous.. their racing going at it.. and just cruising by them.

 

I actually saw one on the way home today, couldn't tell if he wanted to go, though.

 

dood that is ****ing hillarious. lolol. how do you like the insight. my mom was looking into that when they first came out and she liked it alot and especially the mileage you could get on that thing.
