Unless he rebuilds the engine of the Teg the S2K can run all day at 8-9K RPM's without fear of throwing a rod or blowing a gasket, why? because it was designed that way.

Now you are talking about a modded Teg Vs. a stock S2K, let

turbo system...this guy just finished his...check out this thread. He is predicting about $5.5k for the whole system. This is a very good price. Turbo systems are not cheap if done right. The way a lot of "tuners" do turbos for civics and such (home brew sorta things) are really not good reliable setups.

I own a 2000 Integra GSR with quite the many mods, and also own a 2001 stook, sorry to say but my Integra will run away from the stook. Don't get me wrong my S2k is a running machine but the mods on the integra make a huge difference.

1999 LS weighs: 2727lbs according to edmunds
2000 Type R : 2639
2001 S2000 2750

so unless this "built" LS is putting seriously more power then an S2000 the factors of FWD, worse suspension, and actually less torque (most likely) are not going to put it out in front of an S2000.
