Default Join me in celebrating...

Yesterday I finally managed to obtain my first speeding citation in my S2K. 61MPH in a 40, no big deal. I guess I'm lucky that the Maryland State Trooper didn't pass me 1/4 earlier... when I took it up to 90 to pass a Jeep cherokee!!!

I'm amazed that I've had the car for two months, put over 5000 miles on it, and this is the first time I've been pulled over. Especially since I have a 26 mile daily commute, each way, that consists of lightly traveled Maryland back roads. Sometimes it is AGONIZING going even within 10MPH of the speed limit!

My worst ticket was 100MPH in a 55 zone (15 years ago, cost was $152).

Please share some of your law experiences with us all!!!

By the way, the little slot on the inside of the stereo door IS indeed the perfect size to hold a citation!!!

I drove my S to Chicago 2 weekends ago from Toronto, Canada. I averaged 100 m/h all the way there and arrived in the city in about 6.5 hours. Didn't receive any tickets. Throughout the drive up there I only saw 3 state troopers and they already had cars pulled over...I guess I was lucky

I need to get one for my son. He drives like an idiot sometimes. He went through his stock all season Michelins in 15,000 miles. They're supposed to last around 60,000 miles. He enjoys taking turns real fast. We live around a lot of windy roads.
