Very cool and fairly rare car. I have driven a regular one and they are impressive in Torque and Acceleration.. It is ashame the fit and finish on them is not better though..

Looked at Hennessey's website and now he's selling Venom 1000s with up to 1,100 h.p. That's got to be an interesting ride.

Not sure if you will ever get your cars from him. They had a very interesting article on how his company had multiple lawsuits against them because Viper owners would bring their cars and sign over a check to him, and never receive their cars back modified. On top of that they would find that Hennessey had actually sold parts of their cars off. He has recently reorganized from 30 people down to 4, maybe now he will have a bit better control and just work on modifying cars, and not try to become too corporate.

I would still take a viper to Doug Levin before Hennessey.

Yeah, Hennessey's got a bad business record to overcome. He needs to make amends to more than a couple of ripped-off customers. Probably the only reason he's back in business is there's so few big-time tuners for Vipers.

I think even John Ligenfelter (famous Corvette tuner) now does a few Vipers. He has a much better reputation than Hennessey.

LPE has a GREAT reputation. Didn't know they did Vipers. I haven't heard if John L. is recovering from a recent medical crisis but his staff says they're continuing business as usual.

For every Hennessey Viper you see on the road, you gotta wonder how many other clients he has screwed money out of so that the "one" got out the door?
