So basically this is what happened:

The guy in the M3 sux at driving a manual, and probably mis-shifted or forgot to shift.
Since you do NOT own a s2000, I understand that it is hard for you to accept that a nice moded S can keep up with a M3 (with passanger) that cost X times that much. My top was down and I would notice a mis-shift and to say that a guy that wants to race me (I was not looking for a race or reving the shit out of it) sounds like to me and only because you are a BMW fan, you don't need to ruin my day with that type of 12-years old statements ok???

The vert is 3800 lbs... w / the two passengers as stated, the vert is now a 4200lb car. The vert launched from a stop is still 13.2 to mid 13's if driven properly.

The Coupe is much faster... high 12's, low 13's under the right conditions.

Look at the trap speeds when measuring a vehicles power. M3 105-109 stock > NA mods 111 mph trap was just hit by Lee Rutter 12.48 111 mph.

Your NA setup I'll be willing to stretch it a bit and call it 98-101. No doubt w / the gears etc. you're quick up to 80 though.

Lastly anything can happen on the street. Good run
Thanx 4 the even if I know that after the shift in 5th I would be murdered and the Lebenese guys would deep throat each other for 2 more weeks

What's with the hating on the Lebanese?
Lebanese are the type of monkeys that spend $$$ on a 4 digit #plate (less digit more $$$ here) and then come 2 a club to drink mineral water because they are broke. Or they buy a 15 years old BMW and look at you like 50 Cent in the P.I.M.P video....girls are fine, but gu(a)ys are not.....period

What is an 'EDM M3'? You should be close to a vert with two passengers and there is no way in hell a stock (or close to it) E46 M3 vert is pulling a 13.2 and I don't care if the guy driving is named Schumacher or Andretti. An E46 M3 vert should run in the 13.5-13.7 range at about 104-105mph if driven well. As you mentioned a coupe with no passengers would have eaten you up....good run though.

You said there is no way in hell a stock vert will pull 13.2 Somone on M3forum posted there slips already so whatever. He was launching at 5500rpms, beating the sh!t! out of it, so yeah it's possible.

Nope! You only ran up to 90 you said. The gears on the M3 are long. 60-100 in third, and 100-140 in 4th, you would've got left behind.

If you were S/C'd or something of that nature, then there is a good chance you would've kept pulling ?

I have not seen those slips but even if they did I highly doubt it. 13.2 is the fastest I've seen for a stock SMG coupe and it doesn't weigh nearly as much as the vert. I launch my coupe around 5500 RPM's as well and I rarely if ever lose to another DRIVER... I run 13.0 in my coupe which would be faster if I was pulling 1.7x 60' times like Matthews. A vert would need a similar 60' time to Matthews which just isn't going to happen in a stock vert regardless of what you might have read on the internet. The internet does not circumvent the laws of physics. Also...please show me ANY STOCK M3 that has trapped at 109mph, I'm guessing you'll have trouble with this one since they aren't capable unless this particular 1320 is out of the back of a C5A Galaxy falling towards earth.

I stated wtf I saw, time slips! That's factual enough. It's no different then someone on this site posting their slips and me basing info on that. It's still fact.

13.1 is the fastest stock SMG time / 1.9 60ft at 105.9

For the sake of this s2k owners thread. The vert on a regular basis / w / average joe driver, is mid 13's. After 100 he would've owned. Props for keeping up.
