It was my friends WRX. We agreed to race before we rolled to get some breakfast.

First run from 50 MPH to 120 MPH on ramp to 880 in Fremont California. WRX cant catch up!!! S2000 has some badass top end!

We stoped at a stop light.. lined up.. and he said "one more!!" I nod.. and the green light came on, we took off up to 100 mph!! again the WRX got killed by about 3 cars!!!!! He has 5000 mile on his car and I have 2000 miles.

And this is against a friend of mine who drags his WRX and Type R. So he is a good driver. And he owns a car shop too.

Lesson.. WRX are fun cars.. I love them... but no match against a S2000 (both Stock).. My friend wants a rematch this weekend since he will be installing aboost controller and will be upping the bost to 15.2 PSi.. now that worries me..

sweet.. didn't know the '02's were out yet.. i've been wanting to race a new WRX for a while.. just haven't ran in to one... 3cars! good kill!

 

only 2000 miles on the car and you had 3 cars lenght on him. Wait until your car hit 5,000+miles. I think you might put more than three cars on him.

I know... he just called me to tell me that the install for the boost controller is done.. he said he is pushing 15.5 and starts to go full bost at 2500 RPM all the way to redline.. (stock WRX seems to fall out of boost at redline (9Psi). Now that really worries me. ...

If you beat him this time, he'll get an STi before coming back for a re-match!

 

Don't worry about it. Cuz if you killed him by 3 cars, you should still be able to take him if he raises the PSI. When your VTEC kicks in the high end power of the S2K will do the work.

Soobies are great cars all wheel drive kicks ass but alot of power is lost on the way to the ground. It's gunna be close but you should still be able to rock him.
