Default KILLED A 5.0

I was driving home late one night and this modified 5.0 Mustang wouldn't leave me alone. He kept reving alongside of me for about 2-3 miles. So at about 30mph I punched it and so did he. I am still stock at this point by the way. I started going and he just started falling behind......way behind. Kicked his ass! He then moved over into the left lane and made a U turn.

must have been a stock 5 liter, good kill. Because if he was even bolt ons (like you claim) he would have been in the 13's easily, aka S2K waxing......

Depends on the bolt ons and it wouldn't be waxing. My friend has pipes and intake and he stays right by my side all the way to like 90 MPH when we let go.

I know 5.0's can be made fast but I waxed plenty of loud shitty-looking ones who really, really, felt the need to race when I was driving my S. Never ran into a "real" prepped 5.0.

I agree!! I've raced 2 5.0's so far and left one really far behind and the other by about a car length. After the race, the drivers quickly made a U turn at the next light. One guy had his girl in his car and she was pointing and laughing at him after loosing the race.

I've only ran against a 5.0(not w/ my S) that was really fast!! Took off like if I was standing still.

there's such a huge variation in the times they could run...from high 15's to 10's depending on how it was taken care of and the quality of the parts it has installed makes a big difference
